Equine Flexion Therapy

Research is the foundation of equine health practices, and our school provides this.
The investigation of new ideas is important in providing answers to problems, both old and new. It is through research that the normal physiology of the horse becomes better understood and that doors are opened to improve horse care.

***Equine Flexion Therapy is a system designed to realign the spine through massage therapy and deep motion stretching. We teach detailed examinations, visual, muscle and spinal examination, and how to apply hands on therapy.***

A big advantage for all of our students is working with Dan Marcum the Founder of Equine Flexion Therapy.

We pride ourselves in staying current with new technology, products and techniques as well as developing our own unique methods.

Equine Flexion Therapy - EFT ©
(An alternative to Chiropractic)

Designed & Instructed by Dan Marcum, Certified Master Farrier,
Equine Adjuster & Professional Horseman of Texas

This is a Hands–On Know Your Equine Anatomy Course designed for the beginner owner/farrier to the most advanced rider and farrier seeking a better knowledge of horses.

A great way to have hands-on to feel and identify the relaxed or sore muscles & tendons to improve movement…on live horses… not by dissection! Through a process of flexing, massage, and deep motion flexing, Equine Flexion Therapy can help keep horses more flexible and comfortable, aligning the spine without chiropractic adjustments and addressing the muscles that control the skeleton. Evaluation is done through testing the range of motion and palpation tests. Muscle therapy and deep motion flexing can help align the spine and the relaxed muscles will help prevent the spine from being pulled out of alignment. EFT is a system that can help a farrier become a better farrier. It is a system that can be done in conjunction with a farrier business and as equine specialty. The more educated a person is, the better farrier they will be. Dan believes that his experience can benefit the farrier industry and everyone in their own farrier business. A great service for owners… provided by farriers….who should know balance and movement and equine anatomy at its best.
