1. Using Vettec SoleGuard and SuperFast to protect a tender bare foot

2. Lynne Myers of Vettec Hoof Care Products and Jim Lane of EQ-WELL Nikken Magnets came together

and added Nikken PowerPatches to the hoof then placed Vettec SuperFast to build a temporary shoe.

On a typical day, we receive horses that are foundered, abscessed, with cracks and splits and in need of hoof repair. On this particular day, Representative Lynne Myers of the Vettec Company supplied the products which allowed students to ask questions and sample all of the Vettec products.

This first horse shown is Dixie. Dixie had a hole completely through the hoof. The green material used is called EquiPak CS.

The second horse shown is Star. Star is foundered and has a split through the front of her hoof. The CS was also used here as a padding.

The final horse shown is Whitey. Whitey is a typical horse that has gone barefoot. We cleaned out the cracks and filled them using SuperFast.
